The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is hosting a second public information centre (PIC) for the study looking at intersection improvements at Highway 62 and County Road 1.
The PIC will take place on Thursday, January 25 from 4 -7 pm at the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street). The PIC will follow a drop-in format.
MTO has retained Stantec Consulting Ltd. to undertake a Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment for intersection improvements at Highway 62 and County Road 1 (Schoharie Road).
This study includes reviewing existing conditions, developing and evaluating intersection improvement alternatives, and developing environmental protection and mitigation measures.
The purpose of the second PIC is to:
- Provide an update on the project since the first PIC
- Present the evaluation of alternatives
- Present the technically preferred plan
- Answer any questions
