The County of Prince Edward is inviting residents to participate in a public consultation as part of the ongoing Transit Strategy Refresh.
The public consultation will take place on Monday, August 18 from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Picton Town Hall (2 Ross Street).
Community members will have an opportunity to review and provide input on proposed improvements to the municipality’s transit system.
The Transit Strategy Refresh is being developed in collaboration with transit planning consultants Left Turn Right Turn (LTRT). The work builds on feedback collected through public surveys, interviews, consultation with social service agencies, and the Transit Strategy Task Team.
At the public consultation, several potential transit scenarios will be presented on display boards, each designed to improve service for residents, workers, and visitors. LTRT and municipal staff will be present to answer questions and collect public feedback.
The public consultation will include a baked potato and chili bar, available to all attendees. This meal is being provided to support participation during the dinner hour and to help create a comfortable setting for conversation.
All members of the community are invited to attend whether they currently use County Transit services or not.
Anyone wishing to attend is encouraged to register online. Click here to register.
