Public meeting for Lakeside Estates (Loyalist Parkway / Lakeside Drive) on June 22

June 9, 2022

An in-person public information meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 22 at 7 pm for the planning applications 13-T-22-501 & Z1-22 Z8-22 (Lakeside Estates).

The County has received applications for a draft plan of subdivision and zoning by-law amendment for a subdivision along Loyalist Parkway and Lakeside Drive in the Ward of Ameliasburgh.

Through these applications, the applicant seeks permission to develop a subdivision with 32 new lots composed of a mixture of single-detached and semi-detached dwellings.

The meeting will be held in person at the Consecon Legion (184 County Road 29, Consecon).

Materials for each of the above applications can be viewed on The County’s website.

New Planning Application Process

This public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the updated planning application process approved in 2021.

At a public information meeting, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant.

The statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.
