The County of Prince Edward reminds residents of the opportunity to provide feedback towards the municipality’s Asset Management Plan.
Residents can submit input on levels of service and how the municipality can improve community assets through the County’s Asset Management Plan survey. Public feedback will help guide the municipality as it delivers safe and sustainable services in a predictable and cost-effective way for years to come.
The survey is posted online on the municipality’s online engagement site, Have Your Say. Hard copies are available at Shire Hall and at public library branches. If you would like to receive this survey in an alternative format, please email communications@pecounty.on.ca.
Participants who complete the survey can enter to win a prize associated with enjoying some of the municipality’s assets and infrastructure.
The deadline to submit input for the survey is Tuesday, August 5.
County staff have been attending community events across the municipality over the past month to engage the public in-person.
The final in-person pop-up will be on Saturday, August 2 at Princess Amelia’s Birthday Party event held at the Ameliasburgh Heritage Village (517 County Road 19) from 10 am – 2 pm.
Anyone is welcome to visit the County’s table to chat about the Asset Management Plan, ask questions and complete the survey on site.
The public is also invited to participate in the working session on Thursday, August 28 where Council and staff will consider the preferred levels of service and associated financing strategy for the Asset Management Plan. The final draft of the Asset Management Plan will come before Committee of the Whole on Thursday, September 25.
