PEC Trails and the County of Prince Edward will host the grand opening of the White Chapel County Road 49 rest stop on the Millennium Trail on Monday, August 12.
- The event will be held at 856 County Road 49 at 10 am.
- The event will showcase the latest millennium trail rest stop constructed in 2022 and features an accessible picnic table, sheltered bench, and bicycle repair station.
- The event will also showcase a garden, created and maintained by the County Garden Club, that features native plants.
- The construction of this rest stop was made possible through funds raised by the community and PEC Trails as well as Grant money provided by the Federal Government via the Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
