Sandbanks Provincial Park reaches day-use capacity for July 1 and July 3

Sandbanks Provincial Park has reached full capacity for day-use visitors on Thursday, July 1 and Saturday, July 3.

Visitors will only be allowed to enter the Sandbanks if they have an existing daily use vehicle permit reservation for those dates.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is still allowing in campers. Campers are reminded to check in after 2 pm on the date of their reservation.

Advance reservations for day use vehicle permits are required to access Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Parks. Bookings can be made five days in advance at reservations.ontarioparks.com.

Sandbanks has also provided a capacity update for day use reservations throughout the long weekend (as of 10 am on Wednesday, June 30):

  • Friday, July 2 – 80% reserved
  • Sunday July 4 – 45% reserved
  • Monday July 5 – 30% reserved
