Section of Mary Street and Mary Street parking lot closed July 9

July 7, 2025

Mary Street in Picton will be closed between Bowery Street and Elizabeth Street on Wednesday, July 9. The western side of the Mary Street parking lot will also be closed.

The closures are required as Hydro One will be removing a tree at 49 Mary Street. 

  • The closure is expected to take place from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
  • Local traffic will be permitted.
  • Additional free parking will remain available at the municipal lot at 55 King Street.
  • Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
  • Motorists are asked to approach the site with caution or avoid the construction area.
