Several Family Day activities planned for February 16

February 10, 2026

The County of Prince Edward along with many community partners are offering a wide array of Family Day activities on Monday, February 16.

Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street)

  • Public skating will take place from 9 am – 3 pm
  • Highline Hall activities from 9 am – 3 pm:
    • Games, reading programs, and free books
    • Interactive activity booths
    • Free soup and chili from 11 am – 1 pm
    • A hot chocolate booth

Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street)

  • Public skating will take place from 9 am – 3 pm
  • Rotary Hall activities from 9 am – 3 pm:
    • Interactive activity booths
    • Games and craft stations
    • A button making session

Additional public skating

The Wellington and District Community Centre (WDCC) and the Prince Edward Community Centre (PECC) will be open regular hours throughout the holiday weekend.

Public skating is available on the following dates and times over the weekend:

  • WDCC (111 Belleville Street, Wellington):
    • Saturday, February 14: 12:30 pm – 2 pm
    • Sunday, February 15: 8 am – 9 am
    • Monday, February 16: 9 am – 3 pm
  • PECC (375 Picton Main Street):
    • Saturday, February 14: 6 pm – 8 pm
    • Sunday, February 15: 12:30 pm – 2 pm
    • Monday, February 16: 9 am – 3 pm
