A temporary by-pass will be constructed on a section of the Millennium Trail in Picton so that users can safely pass around the work area in the following weeks.
- Work is taking place on a 20-metre section of the trail that runs behind the County Farm Centre on Cold Storage Road. Click here to view the map.
- The contractor, Cobourg Development Services, will install the by-pass and construction fencing around the work area on Friday, October 17 from 7 am until 12 noon. The public will still be able to pass along the trail during this time.
- The by-pass is expected to remain in place until the end of October.
- The work is necessary to support a future watermain connection.
- Cobourg Development Services will restore the section of trail to its previous condition before it reopens to the public.
