A recording of the Tourism Management Plan public information session is now available for viewing on The County’s YouTube channel.
The session, which took place on May 18, included staff presentations on the various components of the Tourism Management Plan, as well as an update from Sandbanks Provincial Park.
Throughout the summer, The County will be seeking feedback from the public about summer issues and the Tourism Management Plan. The first survey is now available on The County’s Have Your Say site, and includes an opportunity for residents to help select the two boat launches where The County will install paddle docks this summer.
Residents and ratepayers are encouraged to explore the Summer Hub section of The County’s website (www.thecounty.ca/summer-hub). The Summer Hub is a one-stop-shop for information that can help residents prepare for and navigate the busy summer season. Features of the site include a “who to call” section, beach and park closure alerts, a parking guide, a guide to Wellington Rotary Beach and more.
