Traffic disruption in Picton on November 5

November 2, 2022

A portion of Picton Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic on Saturday, November 5 during the Firelight Lantern Festival parade.

  • Picton Main Street will be closed between Ross Street and the Picton Fairgrounds from 6 pm – 7 pm.
  • King Street will also be closed between Benson Park and Ross Street from 6 pm – 7 pm.
  • The intersections along the closed section of Picton Main Street will be manned with police and volunteers as the parade proceeds from Ross Street to the Crystal Palace at the Fairgrounds.
