Traffic disruptions on County Road 15 Oct. 17 – 18

October 13, 2022

Traffic disruptions and lane restrictions on County Road 15 will occur on Monday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 18 between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.

  • Monday, October 17: Traffic disruptions will occur between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. Crews will be preparing an area of County Road 15 for the removal of a culvert.
  • Tuesday, October 18: Traffic disruptions will continue, beginning at 7:00 am. County Road 15 will be closed from Foster Road to Norton Road between the hours of 9:00 am – 3:30 pm so that crews can remove the culvert.
  • Only local westbound traffic will have access to the North Port area during the closure.
  • A detour route will be in place during the closure.
  • Once County Road 15 has reopened to traffic, motorists may still experience delays while crews perform additional work until approximately 7:00 pm.
  • Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work. Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area if possible.
