Traffic disruptions on Greer Road and Hubbs Creek Road (Wellington) February 27

February 27, 2025

The County of Prince Edward will be completing repairs on Greer Road and Hubbs Creek Road near Wellington on Thursday, February 27.

  • Repairs have begun and are expected to be completed by 7 pm. Traffic control will be in place.
  • Heavy equipment will limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the repair.
  • Greer Road and Hubbs Creek Road are experiencing higher traffic levels due to the full road closure on Wellington Main Street. Drivers are advised to reduce their speed and drive according to conditions when travelling the detour route.
  • The municipality also reminds the community that the section of the Millennium Trail between Cleminson Street and Wellington on the Lake is closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic. This closure is to allow emergency services to access the residents that are located on the west side of the Wellington Main Street closure.
  • For more information, contact the County of Prince Edward at 613.476.2148 ext. 1023, 613.962.9108 ext. 1023, or info@pecounty.on.ca.
