Traffic disruptions on McDonald Drive (Picton) July 18

July 18, 2025

County of Prince Edward staff are completing work to decommission the previous water service connection at 3 McDonald Drive in Picton and cover the new service connection with asphalt on Friday, July 18.

  • Work will take place until approximately 7 pm on July 18.
  • There will be no road closures during this time, but traffic disruptions are expected along McDonald Drive north of the Prince Edward County Fire and Rescue Station (8 McDonald Drive) to McFarland Drive.
  • Motorists are asked to avoid the construction area and travel alternate routes.
  • Heavy equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
