The County of Prince Edward will begin asphalt driveway tie-in work on a section of County Road 13 on Wednesday, September 23. This work is part of the ongoing road reconstruction project.
- Work will take place on County Road 13 from Civic Address 2183 to Babylon Road and is expected to take approximately two days to complete, weather permitting.
- Minor traffic disruptions are expected. One lane will remain open during the work. Motorists are asked to approach the site with caution or avoid the construction area if possible.
- This works involves removing and reinstating asphalt at driveway entrances to match the new road grade. A subcontractor working on behalf of Miller Paving will complete the work.
- Residents whose driveways are affected should expect temporary interruptions to access while the new asphalt is being placed and set. The contractor will make every effort to minimize the disruptions and maintain access wherever possible.
- Heavy equipment will limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
