The County of Prince Edward has retained a contractor to undertake the construction of a new sidewalk on Union Street in Picton.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 21.
- Approximately 375 metres of sidewalk, curbs and gutters will be installed on Union Street from John Street to Pineridge Drive.
- A portion of Union Street will be reduced to a single lane of traffic. Traffic disruptions may occur in the work area. Click here to see a map of the work area.
- Construction work is expected to take place until December.
- Equipment may limit visibility in the area and noise levels will be elevated for the duration of the work.
