Canadian Armed Forces has informed the County that early morning March 28 to late afternoon March 29, members from 2 Wing Bagotville will be conducting Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) training activities at Canadian Forces Detachment (CFD) Mountain View.
This type of training is essential for Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) missions around the world. CAF members are well-trained and there is no risk to public safety during this training.
8 Wing Trenton would like to remind the public that civilian drones/UAS shall not be flown on or near 8 Wing / CFD Mountain View in accordance with Transport Canada and Department of National Defence safety and security regulations.
