The County would like to provide residents with an update regarding the electric vehicle (EV) chargers at the Wellington and District Community Centre parking lot that were damaged over the weekend.
- The O.P.P. has confirmed that a vehicle collision occurred over the weekend, causing damage to the EV chargers.
- The collision was deemed an accident and there was no foul play involved.
- Staff are working on repairing the chargers to get them back in service as soon as possible.
- The EV chargers located at 257 Bloomfield Main Street and 375 Picton Main Street remain available for use while the Wellington chargers are out of service.
