A virtual public meeting will take place on Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm regarding the planning applications OPA-05-21, 13-T-21-503 & Z21-21 (Loyalist Heights).

The County has received applications for Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan Amendment, and Zoning By-law Amendment for a residential development.

The applicant proposes to create a residential subdivision consisting of a maximum of 393 dwellings, public streets, public open space, servicing/stormwater blocks, and an environmental protected area.

Members of the public who wish to attend the virtual public meeting must register by contacting mcoffey@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Monday, October 25. The meeting will be held virtually on Microsoft Teams. If you have any questions regarding accessing Microsoft Teams, please contact Matt Coffey at the email address above.

Materials for each of the above applications and the public notice for the upcoming virtual public meeting can be viewed on The County’s website.

New Planning Application Process

This public meeting is an information meeting only. Public information meetings are held as part of the new planning application process announced on July 12, 2021.

At a public information meeting, the proponent/agent will present the proposal. If any member of the public would like to ask questions or make comments, they will be able to do so after the presentation by the applicant.

The statutory public meeting required under the Planning Act will be a Planning Committee meeting and would only be held after the public information meeting and when the assigned County planner has completed an analysis of the project.
