No appointment is necessary to get the COVID-19 vaccine at the clinic in Picton (375 Picton Main Street) throughout August.
Individuals 12 years old and older looking for their first or second dose of the COVID-19 can walk in to the clinic between 9:30 am and 3 pm on the following days:
- Thursday, August 5
- Monday, August 9
- Thursday, August 12
- Monday, August 16
- Thursday, August 19
- Monday, August 23
- Thursday, August 26
Appointments already booked through the provincial portal will continue to be honoured. Simply show up on the date and time of your appointment and you will receive the vaccine.
The clinics are administering mRNA vaccines for those 18 years of age and older. Individuals 12-17 years of age will receive the Pfizer mRNA vaccine, as this is currently the only COVID-19 vaccine authorized by Health Canada for this age group. Please bring your photo ID and health card.
If you require a second dose, you can walk in to the clinic any time 28 days after your first dose of Moderna or Pfizer. A stable and reliable supply of COVID-19 vaccines has allowed the province to quickly expand eligibility and access to Ontarians to receive the vaccine ahead of schedule. Please consider getting the second dose as soon as you are eligible in order to gain a strong level of protection against the virus.
