The opening of County landfill and transfer sites could be delayed on Saturday, January 13.
- The municipality plans to operate its seven sites on regular hours, 8 am – 4 pm, on January 13.
- The sites may open later depending on the road conditions.
- Residents can check for updates on the County’s Facebook and Twitter/X accounts or online.
- A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for Prince Edward County. Snow is forecast to begin late this afternoon or early this evening. The snow will quickly become heavy at times, before transitioning to periods of rain tonight or early Saturday morning as temperatures rise above freezing.
