The opening of County landfill and transfer sites could be delayed on Saturday, March 23.
- The municipality plans to operate its seven sites on regular hours, 8 am – 4 pm, on March 23.
- The sites may open later depending on the road conditions.
- Residents can check for updates on the County’s Facebook and Twitter/X accounts or online.
- A winter weather travel advisory is in effect for Prince Edward County. Snow is forecast to begin late this afternoon and ending tomorrow morning. The snow will intensify late afternoon and have a significant impact on driving conditions. 10-15 cm is expected.
