York Street in Picton will be closed on Wednesday, March 12.
- York Street will be closed between Picton Main Street and Mary Street from 11 am and 5 pm. Click here to see a map of the closed area.
- The contractor will be conducting seismic refraction and ground penetrating radar. This work cannot occur during poor weather conditions; therefore, the municipality may need to reschedule the work if poor weather conditions occur.
- This work is part of the York Street reconstruction that was approved by Council in 2024. The project will include replacing a large sanitary sewer and installing a new water main along with new roadway, curbs and sidewalk.
