An event every day that begins at 12:00 am, repeating until November 15, 2024
Quinte Waste Solutions will be collecting dead, intact household batteries with your blue box.
Proper disposal:
Step 1: Gather up dead, intact household batteries including AA, AAA, C, D, 9V, 6V, & button cell batteries, placing a small piece of masking tape on exposed terminals of 9V, 6V, and button cells. Place all of your batteries inside a clear re-sealable bag.
Step 2: Seal the bag of batteries and place them ON TOP of your papers blue box. We collect your batteries on the dates corresponding with your regular collection day(s).
Curbside battery collection takes place the following weeks:
March 11- 22, and November 4-15
