Wellington Canada Day – Street Dance

The Wellington Recreation Committee, Wellington on the Lake Residents Association and The County present two fun-filled days celebrating Canada in Wellington!

Thursday June 30:

🍁 Chicken Dinner BBQ – Wellington Legion – 5-7 pm
🍁 Food vendors on Main Street – 5-10 pm
🍁 Beer garden by Midtown Brewing in Wellington Park – 5-10 pm
🍁 Kids concert by Mystic Drums in Wellington Park – 5:30 – 6:15 pm
🍁 Street dance on Main Street with music by Cue the Funk and 3Thirty3  – 6:30-10 pm

Getting there:

• We encourage you to walk, bike or take the FREE County Transit shuttle from Picton, Bloomfield, Hillier or Consecon
• Main Street will be closed from 6pm – 11pm and traffic will be re-routed.
• Parking in the village will be limited. Street parking is available on side streets, as well as at the Wellington and District Community Centre lot (15 minute walk to concert stage)

What to bring:

• Bring a lawn chair if you’d like. Dress for the weather and don’t forget your sunscreen and bug spray!
• Do not bring personal alcohol. Midtown Brewing is on site to provide a beer garden.
• Food vendors will be on site for food and non-alcoholic drinks!
