The Prince Edward County Affordable Housing Corporation Board is a Municipal Services Corporation, a non-profit part of the community effort toward meeting the affordable housing targets of the County’s Housing Plan. Reaching those housing targets is critical for improving the local economy, workforce stability, and the long-term sustainability of our community. The Prince Edward County Affordable Housing Corporation is moving its two sites in Wellington and Picton forward for rapid construction of mixed income affordable housing units.
The County of Prince Edward is seeking two County residents who possess experience and knowledge of capital fundraising, Public-Private partnerships (P3), and non-conventional development agreements such as land leases. Other assets of potential board members include thoughtful perspectives, collaborative skills, and a commitment to community service.
As a member of the board, you will be working closely with Councillor representatives, housing development specialists, and project managers. This is your opportunity to help guide impactful decisions, advocate for inclusive housing solutions, and contribute to a stronger, more resilient Prince Edward County.
