Millennium Trail Mowing Operations – Benway Road to Consecon

July 10, 2026

The County will be conducting routine mowing and vegetation maintenance along the Millennium Trail on Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th. Maintenance will take place from Benway Road, proceeding west toward Consecon.

Trail users are asked to:

  • Exercise caution when approaching mowing equipment and maintenance crews.
  • Give operators plenty of space to work safely.
  • Slow down when passing equipment and follow any directions provided by staff.
  • Consider avoiding the area during mowing operations if possible.

Due to equipment malfunctions and the increased growth from optimal weather conditions, mowing operations are behind schedule and require weekend work. These maintenance activities help keep the trails safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all users.

The County thanks residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation during these important maintenance activities.
