Voter Notification Letters (VNL) for all qualified voters on the County’s voters list have been forwarded to Canada Post for delivery.
Please check your mail! Didn’t receive your letter? Travelling and can’t pick up your mail? Please contact elections@pecounty.on.ca or 613.476.2148 extension 1020 to confirm that you are on the list and that all of your information is up to date to issue you a new VNL.
Voting In-Person
Your Voter Notification Letter (VNL) provides you with all of the information you will need to vote in-person through traditional paper ballot including your ward-specific voting location. Bring your VNL with you to the voting location as well as identification. Here is a list of acceptable ID. You must vote at your designated voting location; voters who arrive at the incorrect voting location will be redirected.
Need a ride? The County of Prince Edward is partnering with Quinte Transit to offer free transit to all electors on Advanced Voting Day on Saturday, October 17 and on Election Day on Monday, October 26. Learn more.
Voting Online
Your VNL also provides you with the website and your personal voter PIN in order to vote online. You can vote online anytime within the voting period from wherever you access the Internet. No access to the internet? No problem. Visit a Prince Edward County library branch location to use a computer to vote by internet.
Online voting will be open continuously starting at 10 am on Saturday, October 17 until 8 pm on Monday, October 26.
Remember: it is an offence to vote more than once within the municipality or to cast someone else’s ballot.
