Agenda now available for February 19 Planning and Development Committee meeting

The County of Prince Edward has published the agenda for the Planning and Development Committee meeting that will occur on Wednesday, February 19.

The meeting will follow the new process that was introduced in January 2025. The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.

Statutory public meetings will be held for the following applications:

  • A Consent and Rezoning east of 1779 South Big Island Road (Ward 6 Sophiasburgh)
  • A Consent and Rezoning west of 620 County Road 39 (Ward 7 Hillier)
  • A Rezoning for West Lake Lodge (Dunes Lookout Resort) at 1874 County Road 12 (Ward 2 Bloomfield/Hallowell)

Planning and Development Committee will receive comments from the audience about the statutory public meeting applications.

Following the statutory meetings, Planning and Development Committee will consider for decision the following applications.

  • A Consent at 519 Gore Road (Ward 4 Ameliasburgh)
  • An Official Plan amendment related to various Shore Land locations
