Agenda now available for March 5 Planning and Development Committee meeting

The County of Prince Edward has published the agenda for the Planning and Development Committee meeting that will occur on Wednesday, March 5.

The meeting will follow the new process that was introduced in January 2025. The meeting will begin at 6 pm at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) with the live stream on the municipality’s YouTube channel. Members of the public who wish to provide comments can do so by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca to register.

Statutory public meetings will be held for the following applications:

  • A Consent and Rezoning at 1346 County Road 12 (Ward 2 Bloomfield/Hallowell)
  • A Consent and Rezoning at Lighthall Road, south of 497 County Road 24 (Ward 5 Athol)
  • An Official Plan amendment and Rezoning at 4 County Road 18 and 89 Sandy Lane (Ward 5 Athol)
  • A Draft Plan of Subdivision, Official Plan amendment, and Rezoning south of 579 County Road 28 (Ward 4 Ameliasburgh)

Planning and Development Committee will receive comments from the audience about the statutory public meeting applications.

Following the statutory meetings, Planning and Development Committee will consider for decision the following applications.

  • A Rezoning at 565 Wesley Acres Road (Campfire Circle) (Ward 2 Bloomfield/Hallowell)
