Contractors retained by the County of Prince Edward will be completing asphalt spot repairs on various roads beginning Tuesday, July 15. These repairs will focus on restoring small sections of deteriorated asphalt to maintain road safety and extend service life.
The following roads are scheduled for repairs:
- County Road 11 (Near civic address 834 – multiple spots)
- County Road 18 (County Road 18 at County Road 11 intersection)
- County Road 18 (County Road 18 & County Road 12 southernmost intersection)
- County Road 33 (Near Palmer Burris Road)
- McFaul Road (County Road 2 at McFaul Road intersection)
- County Road 10 (County Road 1 intersection, south of County Road, and near 2910 County Road 10)
- County Road 10 (Between civic address 841 and 66)
- Johnson Street (MacSteven Drive & Johnson Street intersection)
- Old Milford Road/ Miller Road/ Gun Club Road (Intersection)
- Old Milford Road (At civic address 566 and 558)
- Peats Point Road (From civic address 31 to Massassauga Road)
- Gore Road (Just west of County Road 23 and near civic address 834 Gore Road)
- County Road 32 (County Road 32 & Shannon Road intersection)
- Fish Lake Road (Fish Lake Road & County Road 5 intersection)
- Smokes Point Road (Smokes Point Road & County Road 33 intersection)
- Huff’s Island Road (Huff’s Island Road Near Highway 62)
Minor traffic disruptions are expected to occur and single lane closures may take place during the work.
- Work will take place between 7 am and 7 pm and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 15 (weather dependent).
- Heavy equipment may limit visibility and noise levels may be elevated in the work areas.
- Motorists are advised to drive with caution in all construction zones and follow posted signage.
