Provincial Parks day-use permits available all week

September 15, 2021

Provincial Parks Update:

As of Wednesday September 15

Both Sandbanks Provincial Park and North Beach Provincial Parks have day-use vehicle permits available every day this week.

Visitors to the Provincial Park will only be allowed to enter if they have an existing daily use vehicle permit reservation for the day they are visiting. Provincial Park users are also reminded that the free weekday day-use program ended on Thursday September 2. Permits and admission fees are required to enter the Parks.

Campers at Sandbanks are reminded to check in after 2 pm on the date of their reservation.

Information about Provincial Parks:

Advance reservations for day use vehicle permits are required to access Sandbanks and North Beach Provincial Parks. Bookings can be made five days in advance at reservations.ontarioparks.com. More info about the advance daily vehicle permit program and how it works at Sandbanks and North Beach is available on The County’s Summer Hub website.

Information about Wellington Rotary Beach:

On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, there is a $10 per person admission fee to visit Wellington Rotary Beach (until September 19, 2021). Residents and ratepayers can obtain a Wellington Rotary Beach Day Use Pass to access the beach for free. Capacity is limited to 350 people, reservations are not available, and a Day Use Pass does not guarantee entry if the beach is at capacity. For more information visit the Summer Hub.

Information about Little Bluff Conservation Area:

Little Bluff has transitioned to its off-season admission fees. Parking is now $5 per car, and seasonal permits are now valid for parking at Little Bluff.

We encourage you to explore beyond the beach. Visit to the County’s official tourism website for ideas on what to do when the beach isn’t an option.
