Book Provincial Park day-use permits up to five days in advance

Prince Edward County is currently welcoming a large number of summer visitors, and the beaches in The County have been busy. As of Monday, July 19, Sandbanks Provincial Park is sold out of daily vehicle permits for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

The public is reminded to book their Sandbanks Provincial Park and North Beach Provincial Park daily vehicle permits up to five days in advance through the Ontario Parks reservation system. The earliest that you can book for a Saturday permit is Monday at 7 am.

Only vehicles that have reserved their daily vehicle permit in advance will be permitted to enter the park.

Beach Capacity Notifications

The County provides beach capacity notifications as a service to the public. During the summer tourism season, The County will provide beach capacity notifications through the following channels:

The County will also send a public service announcement through our email list when Wellington Rotary Beach reaches capacity.

The public can follow the individual beaches’ Twitter accounts for immediate notifications of capacity and closures.
