The Picton waste transfer site will be closed on Wednesday, August 24 due to repair work happening to the asphalt entrance.
The site will be re-open for operation on Saturday, August 27.
The following sites will be open on August 24 to offset the impacts of closing the Picton waste transfer site:
- South Marysburgh Landfill (1132 Old Milford Road)
- Hallowell Transfer Station (1080 Shannon Road)
- Sophiasburgh Transfer Station (35 County Road 14)
Construction waste can be taken to either the Hallowell or Sophiasburgh landfills during this closure.
