The County of Prince Edward is hosting a tree seedling giveaway in celebration of Earth Day.
The giveaway will occur on Saturday, April 29 from 8 am – 1 pm at the following locations (while supplies last):
- Delhi Park (Lalor Street, Picton) next to the community gardens
- Wellington and District Community Centre rear parking lot (111 Belleville Street, Wellington)
- Roblin Lake Garage, 13 Coleman Street, Ameliasburgh, next to the public works garage
The seedlings have been purchased from Quinte Conservation and Pine Needle Farms and will be available to County residents free of charge. Click here for a list of the tree species that will be offered through the event.
