The County of Prince Edward is seeking volunteers to join its newly created New Horizons Seniors’ Advisory Group.
As a member of this group, you’ll dive into Prince Edward County’s Community Safety and Well-being Plan, offer fresh ideas for consideration in the next version, and design and implement activities that support senior well-being.
The New Horizons Seniors’ Advisory Group will run from September 2024 – March 2025, with a time commitment of approximately six hours per month.
This group is a dynamic and informal team, not a formal advisory board or reporting committee to Council. Members will make a positive impact through innovative approaches and open dialogue.
If the New Horizons Seniors’ Advisory Group sounds interesting to you, please apply via the online application form by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, September 11.
If you have questions about the New Horizons Seniors’ Advisory Group, contact Kiydan Zachariah, Programs and Services Assistant at 613.921.6259 or email kzachariah@pecounty.on.ca.
This project is funded by the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
