The County of Prince Edward received funding to install two new Level 3 DCFC electric vehicle chargers at the King Street parking lot (55 King Street, Picton).
The electrical work for the installation will take place from Tuesday, June 24 to Friday, June 27 and the parking lot will be closed during this time.
The new charging station is expected to be functional in July 2025.
Street parking on King Street will be free during the closure. Free parking will remain available at the municipal lot on Mary Street.

The Level 3 DCFC chargers were partially funded by Natural Resources Canada under the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP).
