Electronic waste now accepted at two municipal waste sites

June 3, 2025

The municipality is now accepting electronic waste free of charge at both the South Marysburgh (1132 Old Milford Road) and Sophiasburgh (35 County Road 14) waste sites during regular hours of operation.

  • Electronic waste includes anything with a plug or cord that uses power and related accessories. Examples of electronic waste include televisions, phones, wires and cables, power tools, microwave ovens and small appliances. Click here for a list of accepted items.
  • Hazardous waste will not be accepted. Hazardous waste must be dropped at the hazardous waste depot in Belleville or at a mobile event. Operating hours are available on the Quinte Waste Solutions website.
