Residents are reminded of the temporary changes to the garbage and recycling collection schedule over the holidays.
- There will be no collection on Thursday, December 25, Friday, December 26 or Thursday, January 1.
- There will be no garbage, green bin, and recycling collection on Monday, December 29 because of inclement weather conditions.
- Regular collection will return on Friday, January 2.
- Garbage and recycling collection will follow a temporary schedule over the holidays. Please find your regular collection date on the left and the corresponding temporary collection date on the right.

- Garbage bags must be tightly sealed and weigh no more than 40lbs when filled. All bags must have a visible tag. To review the Waste Management By-law, please click here.
- Environmental 360 Solutions reminds residents to have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. If your collection is missed on collection day, please call 1.866.358.3560.
Landfill and transfer stations
- The landfill and transfer stations’ operating hours will run as scheduled Saturday, December 20 and Saturday, December 27. The Wellington, Sophiasburgh, and Picton waste sites will be closed Wednesday, December 24 and open on Wednesday, December 31. Please be advised that inclement weather may cause delays in opening the sites.
