Local traffic only continues on Hill Street and Spencer Street (Picton)

The County reminds the public that Hill Street and Spencer Street in Picton remain closed to through traffic.

  • Motorists should obey the local traffic only signage at the construction site on Picton Main Street. Local traffic refers to motorists who live in the neighbourhood or are travelling to that location for a purpose. This encompasses Spencer Street to Hill Street, including Broad Street, Bay Street, Fairfield Street, Division Street and Bokus Street.
  • Prince Edward OPP are patrolling the area to ensure motorists are abiding by the signage and following the directed detour routes from McFarland Drive to Johnson Street.
