Municipal offices closed Easter holiday

The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 for the Easter holiday.

Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:30 am.

 Garbage and recycling collection

  • Regular garbage, green bin, and recycling collection will occur on both March 29 and April 1 with no interruptions.
  • Environmental 360 Solutions and Quinte Waste Services remind residents to have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue box out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup.
  • The County’s landfill and transfer stations will be open regular hours on Saturday, March 30. Visit The County website for more information.

 Recreation Centres

The Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) and the Wellington and District Community Centre (111 Belleville Street) will be closed on Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1.

Public skating is available at the Wellington and District Community Centre on Saturday, March 30 from 7:30 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, March 31 from 8 am to 9 am.

County Transit

County Transit will not operate on Friday, March 29. Regular service will be in place Monday, April 1.
