Garbage Collection

Garbage is collected weekly in The County. Each week, residents may place a maximum of two bags per week at the curb and commercial businesses may place a maximum of five bags per week at the curb. Bags must be to the curb by 7 am. Each bag must have a $3 bag tag attached. Bag tags can be purchased at a number of Bag Tag Purchasing Locations. Large items are not collected at the curb. Curbside Collection Schedule

• Tuesday – Hallowell and Sophiasburgh Wards
• Wednesday – Picton, South Marysburgh and North Marysburgh Wards
• Thursday – Hillier Ward, Athol, Wellington, Bloomfield
• Friday – Ameliasburgh

Collection of garbage and green bin organic waste is contracted to Environmental 360 Solutions (E360S).
