The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21 for the Easter holiday.
Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 22 at 8:30 am.
Garbage and recycling collection
- Regular garbage, green bin, and recycling collection will occur on both April 18 and April 21 with no interruptions.
- Environmental 360 Solutions and Quinte Waste Services remind residents to have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue box out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup.
- The County’s landfill and transfer stations will be open regular hours on Saturday, April 19. Visit The County website for more information.
Recreation Centres
The Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street) is open for the Federal Election Advances Polls over the Easter Weekend including Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21 from 9 am to 9 pm.
The Wellington and District Community Centre will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. The walking track and arena will be open from 7 am – 6 pm on Monday, April 21.
Public skating is available at the Wellington and District Community Centre on Saturday, April 19 from 6 pm to 7 pm, and Monday, April 21 from 8 am to 9 am. There will be no public skating on Friday, April 18 or Sunday, April 20.

County Transit
County Transit will not operate on Friday, April 18. Regular service will be in place on Monday, April 21.
