Municipal offices closed July 3

The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Monday, July 3 for the Canada Day holiday.

Offices will reopen on Tuesday, July 4 at 8:30 am.

Garbage and recycling collection

  • Curbside garbage, green bin, and recycling pickup service will occur according to the regular schedule.
  • Environmental 360 Solutions and Quinte Waste Services remind residents to have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. Click here to view the recycling and garbage collection schedules.
  • The County’s landfill and transfer stations will be closed on Saturday, July 1. Visit The County website for more information. 

Wellington and District Community Centre

The walking track at the Wellington and District Community Centre will be closed on Monday, July 3. The track will reopen on Tuesday, July 4 and operate on the summer schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.

PECelebrates

A celebration of community, cultures and Canada, will take place June 24 – July 1 across Prince Edward County. Details about the PECelebrates Festival are now available on The County’s website.

Featured events include Revel, the Wellington Street Dance and new Drone Show, and Canada Day celebrations in Picton, Wellington and Ameliasburgh on July 1.
