Municipal offices closed September 2 for Labour Day

The County of Prince Edward municipal offices will be closed on Monday, September 2 for Labour Day.

Offices will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 8:30 am.

Garbage and recycling collection

  • Curbside garbage, green bin, and recycling pickup service will occur according to the regular schedule.
  • Environmental 360 Solutions and Quinte Waste Services remind residents to have their garbage, green bin, and properly sorted blue boxes out to the curb by 7 am to ensure pickup. Click here to view the recycling and garbage collection schedules.
  • The County’s landfill and transfer stations will be open regular hours on Saturday, August 31. Visit The County website for more information.

Recreation Facilities

The Wellington and District Community Centre will be closed from Saturday, August 31 to Monday, September 2 for scheduled maintenance. The facility will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.

The Prince Edward Community Centre will be closed on Monday, September 2.

The walking track at the Wellington and District Community Centre (WDCC) will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 7 am.

Reminder: The walking track at the WDCC is currently operating on its summer schedule of Monday- Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.

 

County Transit

County Transit will not be in operation.
