Plan your County Transit trip using Google Maps

September 11, 2024

County Transit’s new schedule and bus stop locations are now available on Google Maps, making trip planning easier than ever.

Follow these three easy steps to find information on County Transit through Google Maps online or the mobile app:

  1. Enter your starting address in Picton or Bloomfield and your destination.
  2. Select the transit icon (the bus/train symbol) instead of the driving symbol.
  3. Choose your departure or arrival time.

Google Maps will then provide:

  • Walking directions to the nearest County Transit bus stop.
  • Bus departure times from that stop (from one of five daily weekday trips to Belleville).
  • The Belleville Transit bus number you need to transfer to, along with timing details.
  • For travel beyond Belleville, Google Maps may display options for VIA Rail or other bus companies (except Megabus; visit its website for details).

To plan your return trip, click the two arrows next to the address fields to reverse directions.

Please note: County residents who live more than two kilometres away from a bus stop may contact County Transit’s provider, Quinte Transit, a day in advance to arrange a potential pickup. Quinte Transit can be reached through email at info@quintetransit.ca or by phone at 613.392.9640 or 1.855.283.9640.

For more information on County Transit, please visit the County’s website.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Vincent de Tourdonnet, Transit Coordinator, County of Prince Edward, at vdetourdonnet@pecounty.on.ca.
