On Wednesday, April 17, the Planning and Development Committee will hold a meeting pursuant to Sections 34, 51 & 53 of the Planning Act.
A combined statutory public meeting and decision meeting will take place for the following applications:
- Draft Plan of Subdivision & Rezoning File No.: 13-T-19-504 & Z58-19 – Hilden Homes Ltd. (Tulip Estates) – 12697 Loyalist Parkway – Part Lot 20 Concession Southeast of Carrying Place Hallowell being Part 2 47R8220 and Part Lots 1080 & 1081 Plan 24 Picton, Part Lots 19 & 20 Concession Southeast of Carrying Place Hallowell being Parts 3, 4, 5 & 6 47R4919 subject to HW15972, HW15977, PE79483 except Parts 1, 2 & 3 47R7992 & Parts 1 & 4 47R8118; Ward 1 (Picton) – to develop a subdivision containing 423 single detached, semi-detached and townhouse units, and 80 apartment units. - Consent & Zoning File No.: B90-21, B91-21 & Z72-21 – Karol Sitarski – East of 3309 County Road 3 – Part Lot 100-101 Concession 1 as in AM12394 (Firstly) Except PE64026, Part 1 47R3843, Part 1 47R5493 & Part 1 & 2 47R4055; Ward 4 (Ameliasburgh) – sever to create two new lots and rezone the property as a result of the consent. - Zoning File No.: Z7-23 – Municipally initiated, affecting various locations within Prince Edward County – Extension of Interim Control By-law 102-2023 to prohibit development in areas where Shore Land designation overlaps areas with natural heritage features until May 22, 2025, to permit the Municipality time to continue reviewing/studying these areas. The meeting will take place at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) beginning at 7 pm.
The public is invited to participate either in-person, virtually, or through written comments submitted to the respective planner prior to the meeting.
Members of the public who wish to speak at the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, are encouraged to register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Tuesday, April 16. Upon registering to speak at the meeting, members of the public will be emailed instructions on attending the meeting in person or a unique link and directions for participating in the meeting via Zoom.
