The Planning and Development Committee will hold a meeting pursuant to Sections 34 and 53 of the Planning Act on Wednesday, May 15.

A combined statutory public meeting and decision meeting will take place for the following applications:

  • Zoning File No.: Z4-24 – Thomas Mason & Eva Kralits – 1601 County Road 24 – Lot 5 Registrar’s Compiled Plan 3 Athol Together With PE117838; Ward 5 (Athol) — Rezone to permit development of a detached garage accessory to the existing dwelling. Planner: Scott Pordham (spordham@pecounty.on.ca).
  • Consent File No.: B22-23 & B23-23 – Peter Sorensen & Erna Sorensen – 2800 County Road 3 – Part Lot 94 Concession 1 Parts 1 & 2 47R2205 togther with PE172158; Ward 4 (Ameliasburgh) — Sever to create two lot additions to benefit lands on both the east and west side. Planner: Emily Overholt (eoverholt@pecounty.on.ca).
  • Consent & Zoning File No.: B3-24 & Z5-24 – Brian Wike Smith – 1400 County Road 12 – Part Lot 75 Registrar’s Compiled Plan 27 Part 6 & 7 47R612 except Part 1 & 2 47R1543 & Part 20 Highway Registered Plan 304; Ward 2 (Bloomfield/Hallowell) — Sever one lot addition to benefit lands to the south and rezone as a result of the consent. Planner: Emily Overholt (eoverholt@pecounty.on.ca).

The meeting will take place at Shire Hall (332 Picton Main Street) beginning at 7 pm.

The public is invited to participate either in-person, virtually, or through written comments submitted to the respective planner prior to the meeting.

Members of the public who wish to speak at the public meeting, either in-person or virtually, are encouraged to register by contacting clerks@pecounty.on.ca by noon on Tuesday, May 14. Upon registering to speak at the meeting, members of the public will be emailed instructions on attending the meeting in person or a unique link and directions for participating in the meeting via Zoom.
