Pre-construction activities for the rehabilitation of County Road 3 are now underway.
Activities such as project layout, signage, and mobilization will continue throughout the week with construction scheduled to begin on Monday, May 25.
Work on this project is expected to be completed prior to September 1, 2026.
The work will take place Monday to Friday, between 7 am and 7 pm.
This project begins where the previous phase of the County Road 3 rehabilitation ended (civic #1460) and continues to the west for approximately 1.1 km (civic #1668). Click here to view a map showing the location of work.
The project scope includes ditching improvements, culvert replacements, paved shoulders and full removal and replacement of the existing roadway asphalt surface. Construction was awarded to Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. by Council on Tuesday, April 21.
A minimum of one lane of traffic is anticipated to be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
