The rainbow crosswalk in front of Metro at 73 Picton Main Street will be repainted Sunday, May 28 beginning at 9 pm.
- The painting of the crosswalk may cause traffic delays for the duration of the work.
- Pedestrians and motorists are asked to approach the site with caution.
- The rainbow crosswalk, which was initially installed last year, celebrates the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Prince Edward County. Mayor Steve Ferguson has declared June as Pride Month in Prince Edward County. Read the full proclamation.
- The rainbow crosswalk on Picton Main Street in front of the Picton Fairgrounds will not be repainted this year because of the reconstruction of the street this summer.
